Hi there, I'm Jayson.

I’m a San Francisco-based photographer and tech geek.

I’m driven by art, music, and technology.  I’ve been a movie marketer for many years now, and have the pleasure to have worked on many mainstream movie campaigns such as: Jobs, Zero Dark Thirty, The Amazing Spiderman, Avatar, Twilight, and many more.  

When I’m not making photos, I’m a co-founder of a startup social network for creative collaboration, called Sum.  I also run the fledgling Fuji Friends, which is a community of fellow Fuji lovers and enthusiasts here in the Bay Area.  We have photo walks, events, and other things Fuji-related.

My photography heroes are Richard Avedon, Zack Arias, John Keatley, David Jackson, David Hobby, and a few others.  I only hope to be as good as these guys someday.  In the meantime, I will continue to advance my storytelling through the lens, and capture great photos that tell a story!

I pretty much make all of my photos on Fuji now.  My weapon of choice is the X-T1, which is my favorite camera that I have ever owned.

As I mentioned above, I shoot all Fuji now.  I'm a huge advocate for Fuji X cam systems, as they provide me the best image quality, amazing lenses, and best of all, I can travel light.
